A spectacular view of the splendid fireworks display, held in the gardens of the Royal Palace at Vienna. This view shows the fireworks ascending from the roofs and ramparts of the palace, with a battle between centaurs wielding fiery brands in the foreground.

A spectacular view of the splendid fireworks display, held at the Royal Palace and barracks at Nuremburg in August 1650. The view shows the fireworks ascending from the palace roof and grounds on the right, with the strange conical roofed barracks on the left.

A fine, detailed brightly coloured view of the Vatican gardens and the Casino and Pavilion of Pope Leo XIII. The garden is laid out with trees in pots, box hedging, statuary and a pool, with strollers (including an embassy from Turkey) admiring the grounds.
